Bluebird Care Community Fundraiser

Saying thank you to a community for their tremedous support!

One of our customers is currently going though a particularly challenging time with her health lately, however she could not get through it without the support of her amazing team including Brenda Langley, Lisa Southard, Heidi Crago, Team Leader Amber Johns and Package Manager Fiona Mitchell. The team and customer have been very thankful to the community of Carnon Downs, particularly their District Nurse team and to say thank you we are all holding a village fundraising event to raise money for the community with the goal being able to fund another syringe driver for the DN team, a piece of equipment which has been vital to the customer's comfort, but also a piece of equipment in limited supply. 

The event, to be held at Carnon Downs Village Hall on 7th April, will be in the form of a village fete with local stall holders, village fete games including a raffle, tombola, penalty shoot-out and hook a duck as well as the customer's team taking part in a 'Sponsored Tutu Walk'. There will also be yummy cream teas as well as a cake baking competitiona nd a cupcake decorating competition. Fiona and Lauren have been busy asking local businesses if they would like to hold a stall or donate a prize for the day- some of the generous prizes so far include a round of golf for four at Killiow Golf Club, a goody bag from Roddas and plants from Carnon Downs Garden Centre, with many more to come.
