Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall recently welcomed Jayne Kirkham, MP for Truro and Falmouth, to the team’s office in Truro for an important conversation about the future of care in Cornwall.
During the visit, the team shared insight into the growing demand for care services across the county and spoke about the vital role that live-in care can play in supporting people to remain in the place they feel most comfortable — their own home.
For many people, staying at home is closely linked to their sense of independence, wellbeing and quality of life. Receiving care at home allows individuals to maintain familiar routines, remain connected to their communities and continue living life on their own terms while receiving the support they need.
A key topic during the discussion was the increasing role of live-in care. This type of support allows a dedicated Care Expert to live alongside the customer in their home, providing personalised one-to-one support throughout the day. This approach helps people receive the assistance they need while maintaining their independence and lifestyle.
The visit also provided an opportunity to highlight the realities of delivering care services across Cornwall and the positive difference that personalised care can make to people’s lives.
Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall welcomed the opportunity to share their experiences of supporting customers across the region and to discuss the future of care within the local community.
The team would like to thank Jayne Kirkham for taking the time to visit and learn more about the work being carried out to support customers across Cornwall.
