Come and meet our dogs in our free pet therapy sessions

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, we will be holding our Pet Therapy Sessions during the summer months by the Library Entrance to Cozenton Park in Rainham.  We would like to invite all customers that are able to come along and meet our pets.

Come and join us to see how animal assisted therapy improves customers’ mental, physical, social and emotional functioning.  Animal therapy can release endorphins that produce a calming effect.  This can help alleviate pain, reduce stress and improve a person’s overall psychological state.  Animal Therapy is an ideal way for customers who may be less mobile to be able to interact with animals without having to care for them full-time.  All our animals are clean, vaccinated, well-trained and screened for appropriate behaviour.

These are free sessions and you don’t need to book.  Just come along and join us.  There will be various dates, dependent upon the weather.  For more information, just call Gayle on 780909 or check on our Facebook page.

Eventually, it is hoped that Roy and Joey will be able to go and meet customers in their own homes as well.
