Beating Isolation Trip to Herne Bay with our Customers
⛵️🎠⛱ Yay! Our trip to the Seaside was a total Success! ⛱🎠⛵️
Bluebird Care (Medway)'s first ever coach trip to the seaside took place at the end of May.
We went to Herne Bay where everyone really enjoyed themselves.
There was a Fish and Chip lunch in Mackaris Restaurant with a drink and an ice cream. The fish was lovely! The rest of the time, people were free to do as they pleased. There was a lot of strolling along the front, a lot of shopping and a lot of coffee consumed. Our youngest participant was 14 years old and our oldest was 96 years old.
We would like to thank the staff in the Restaurant for their patience, our Coach Driver, George from Chalkwells, who was amazing with the lift into the coach for our wheelchair users and for those with any mobility problems.
Finally, I would like to thank Lisa W, one of our lovely Care Workers, who was an amazing support for the day. Thank you Lisa!
There was plenty of talk about our next trip, probably to take place in September, and you will find details on here as soon as everything is arranged.
If it's as good as the Herne Bay trip, I can't wait!!!
