Parkinson's Awareness Day
Our Recruitment and Training Manager, Sharon K, will be hosting 2 Parkinson's Awareness sessions today, one at 11:30 and one at 15:30, in the office for Care Assistants. There will be discussions and shared experiences of this condition which affects one in 500 people which equates to almost 130,000 people in the UK whose lives have been changed by this illness. Sharon will also be conducting a Dementia Friends meeting at 2pm today...so a busy day ahead for her.
