Dementia Friends target reaches 2 million.

2 million Dementia Friends committed to making communities more dementia friendly.

The Alzheimers Society inisiative of creating Dementia Friends have reported that they have reached the two million target and have issued a limited edition of 'Dementia Friends 2 million' badge to be worn with pride.  Bluebird Care (Medway), through our Director Charmaine, was instrumental in reaching this target as she gave numerous presentations to various groups throughout the community raising awareness of Dementia.   Many Dementia Friends were created and we received some positive feedback and thanks from people who attended the free sessions.  They were very grateful as Charmaine answered many questions and dispelled many myths which people had about Dementia.
