I would just like to share with you a conversation I have just had with a potential new customer’s daughter.

Amy went out yesterday to this new customer’s home to do an assessment.  The daughter has just phone me and said: 

“Amy is a lovely, lovely lady and does her job so well.  We have met with many Care Companies and Bluebird Care wins hands down.  We have been so impressed by the company right from the beginning”.

Well done Amy!  See, it’s not just us that love you!

 

I just wanted to say that Pippa is an absoultely marvellous carer. Last week when I was not feeling well she helped me to bed and would not leave until my daughter arrived, even though this made her late for her next call.  She is a real genuine carer.

To me they are 100% without the carers i wouldnt have my freedom. i would go mad sitting and looking up my front path day after day.

I would be grateful if you would pass on my grateful thanks to all the carers who looked after J, only some of whom I met but others I only got to talk to by phone, as it was with their care, patience and professionalism they were able to support J in staying at her home until she died as was her singular wish.

Would you please place on record my eternal thanks to A and C who were attending to me on Wednesday 21stwhen I suffered a fit. Although I was not aware of the situation happening around me P was grateful for the assistance they both gave in a professional manner.
 
C the paramedic also has passed on his thanks for the assistance they gave him during his attendance.
 
We are very pleased to know two wonderful carers who are able to administer extra care when needed

Bluebird have provided a good service to me...the carer’s are exceptional…Thank you for your services to date, and may I wish you all the best for the future.

Would just like to make a special mention on Carol D-M for caring for my father, Ron J.  She is extremely professional in her work and does a very thorough job which the family and more to the point my father is very happy about. 

I think she is a real credit to your company and I thought I would let it be known. 

I am sure not many people who you and your team of carers look after have given time for praising up certain individuals, but are the first to moan when something isn't quite right.

Please would you very kindly pass my message onto Carol as I think she deserves to know that we hold her in high esteem.

On the back of this I have been looking at going into caring myself and have applied to a couple of care agencies in my area.

Hi my name is Magda and I was chosen to become On-call Assistant in Medway. 

I know you might think that's not for you, but do not worry it is an easy procedure. You will be supported by your manager (I was). While you are On-call Assistant, you will be the very first person that customer or colleague will contact. Usually customer wants to find when  their carer is due or sometimes colleagues are running late and will ask you to inform next customer. 

You will hold rosters/key codes.  Also you will need to do notes about every call you receive.  I was On-call Assistant last weekend (first time).  Yes, I was stressed, but believe in yourselves and everything will go smoothly.
