The Pass System

At Bluebird Care we are always looking for ways to improve all aspects of our care services. One way we put ourselves above our competitors is through the Pass System. The Pass System is an award winning care note documentation app, this app allows our care assistants to tag into a visit and log all notes in real time. This allows our customers family to log into the app as soon as a visit has been completed too read exactly what the care worker has done and how long they have been at the visit for.

Read what our care assistants Megan and Brodie have to say about using the app.

How do you think the pass system benefits your care work?
The Pass System is great, It is updated many times a day. This means my rota is always up to date, and the customer's care plans are reflective of their current needs.

How do you think the pass system benefits the customers you go to visit?
The Pass System offers a number of benefits to our customers. Firstly, all the tasks are tailored to each customers needs or requirements. For example a task is so specific that it includes how many sugars to put in a customers tea, whilst these small details may not seem important we believe it is the little things that make a huge difference. As well as these smaller details, because the Pass System updates instantly it also means that if the customer has a new medication or requirement it can be added to the care plan instantly.

Do you prefer the pass system to hand written notes?
I much prefer typing on the Pass System, not only is it quicker it also requires you to write notes that directly reflect what you have done in the customer home.

Do you know the benefits the pass system offers to our customers families (through open pass)?
Yes, Open Pass allows the customer and their families to read my care notes as soon as I have typed them. This is a huge benefit to many of our customers families, as when they are busy with day to day life they can check the app and gain peace of mind that all care has been completed.
