Bluebird Care Maidstone is pleased to announce that Involve Carers has been awarded the second Bluebird Care Community Grant which is to be presented in the next few weeks.

The grant of £500 will enable Involve Carers to continue delivering their 'Connecting Carers' service, running weekly drop in coffee and chat services along with one off events such as cream teas that provide a much needed break for carers.

Involve Carers, which is based in Marsham Street, Involve Carers support Carers in their caring role. We work closely with other voluntary sector organisations, Kent County Council, and the NHS to ensure the best outcomes for Carers.

About the Bluebird Care Community Grant, Jade, Bluebird Care (Maidstone) Care Manager explained that:
The work that Involve Carers do is fantastic and very much valued by our local community. It is because of the valuable job that many unpaid carers in Maidstone do each day we chose to nominate Involve Carers.

We regularly meet family carers through the work that we do at Bluebird Care and know how much the work Involve Carers do makes a difference. I am delighted to award this grant to such a worthwhile cause.
