Healthwatch Kent Community Champion

We have recently become a Healthwatch Kent Community Champion. Healthwatch Kent is an independent organisation, set up to champion the views of patients and social care users across Kent and being a Community Champion is an important role for us to have.

We have recently become a Healthwatch Kent Community Champion. Healthwatch Kent is an independent organisation, set up to champion the views of patients and social care users across Kent and being a Community Champion is an important role for us to have.

Working with local organisations such as Healthwatch Kent is positive for us as it helps us to be a positive influence for high quality care services in Maidstone. In addition to receiving advice on best practice from Healthwatch Kent, being a Community Champion will enable us to share best practice and therefore be an influence for high quality care.

Healthwatch Kent’s mission is to raise the public's voice to improve the quality of local health and social care services in Kent and they also have a few information and signposting service to help navigate Kent’s health and social care system.
