The Little Things That #MakeADifference - Hear From Customer Brenda

We recently met with customer Brenda, who explained how her Care Assistant Carole made a big difference through such a simple and caring action recently.

Our #MakeADifference campaign aims to recognise and thank our incredible team for some of the simple things that they do which go above and beyond for their customers.

We have a culture of going above and beyond for our customers. This is extremely important as we strive to deliver an excellent standard of care and support.


It is often the simple things that can make such a big difference. These are things that are often done simply because of the passion of our staff to patiently care.

We recently met with customer Brenda, who explained how her Care Assistant Carole made a big difference through such a simple and caring action recently.

Brenda has lived in Shipborne for over 60 years with her husband and explained:

Carole visited me recently and saw a rash on my leg that turned out to be cellulitis and had turned septic. She spotted it immediately and as soon as she did, called the ambulance then waited with me until the paramedics arrived. I was in hospital for just under three weeks and if she had not spotted the rash it is possible that it would have got much worse. Carole is so very good when she visits me. She does not rush and knows me really well. I very much look forward to her visits and we always have a lovely natter!
