Celebrating 100 With Alan!

Today we celebrated a very special birthday with our customer, Alan, who is 100 tomorrow! Care Assistant Brenda visited with Community Liaison Nathan to take him a cake and card from the whole Bluebird Care team.
Today we celebrated a very special birthday with our customer, Alan, who is 100 tomorrow!Alan, who built his career in farming & agriculture and worked for Kent County Council for 17 years lives in Shepway and we visit two times a week to help with a little shopping.
Alan had received his telegram from the queen, secretary of state and was delighted to have had such a thoughtful visit.
Care Assistant Brenda visited with Community Liaison Nathan to take him a cake and card from the whole Bluebird Care team.
Nathan explained:
Reaching 100 years of age is an excellent milestone and we always make sure that we visit those who reach it as it is not only wonderful to celebrate, it is fascinating to hear the stories that our customers have to share.
Alan was no exception and so welcoming when we arrived. You would not believe that he was 100 as he is so active in the house!

A big thank you to Bluebird Care for the thought in visiting me to celebrate my birthday. It was lovely to have the cake and card, which is probably the first of many!
