Going Out For Lunch With Elizabeth

We recently took customer Elizabeth and her Care Assistant Jackie out to lunch at local Poppy Fields and she shared some fascinating anecdotes from her past.

We recently took customer Elizabeth and her Care Assistant Jackie out to lunch at local Poppy Fields and she shared some fascinating anecdotes from her past.

Elizabeth has lived in her current home in Maidstone for many decades and has a close family, with two children who visit to spend time with her.

In the past, Elizabeth was able to travel with her husband for work and enjoyed visiting lots of wonderful locations where she has many happy memories.

In addition, Elizabeth explained that her husband and her used to do enjoy the sun, doing a lot of gardening as the family home in Maidstone has a lovely outside space.

Elizabeth is also involved in her local community, attending her local church as much as she can. She has many happy memories in her home and we are proud to support her to be able to remain in her home.

Poppy Fields is a very popular Maidstone destination for food, with Elizabeth and Jackie enjoying a rather nice meal of ham, egg and chips along with a dessert to top it off!

One of Elizabeth's Care Assistants, Jackie, commented:
It is a very challenging, but rewarding job being a Care Assistant and something that definitely makes you go home at the end of the day knowing you have made a difference!

This is particularly close to my heart ad I chose to work in care because I really like to help people and ever since I have started, I have found the job so rewarding!
Care Manager, Jade, explained:
Every one of our customers has their own story just like Elizabeth and we would love to be able to share every one of them!

We support Elizabeth with three visits each day to help her with a variety of things that ensure she is able to remain in her familiar environment for as long as possible and it is a privilege to do so.

I am very pleased we are able to take customers out as we did with Elizabeth!
