We recently celebrated our seventh anniversary with an event to reward our hard-working Care Assistants and customers with an al fresco Customer Afternoon Tea at Barham Court on Sunday 16 July.
We recently celebrated our seventh anniversary with an event to reward our hard-working Care Assistants and customers with an al fresco Customer Afternoon Tea at Barham Court on Sunday 16 July.More than 40 customers, carers and their families attended the event, where they were treated to fabulous weather and a fun-packed schedule of activities including Bingo.
Jade Bray, Care Manager at Bluebird Care Maidstone, said:
We are delighted to be celebrating seven years of Bluebird Care Maidstone and getting to share the day with some of our fantastic customers was very special.

Joyce Burden, 92, a customer of Bluebird Care Maidstone who attended the event, said:
I don't get many opportunities to go out to events like this anymore, but my care assistant was very kind and gave me a lift.
Bluebird Care has been helping me ever since I had a stroke; it's very reassuring to know I have their support with all my daily chores.
Their carers do a brilliant job and I was thrilled to get to spend the day celebrating the anniversary and chatting with some of their other customers.

Hettiy Clements, 90, has lived in Maidstone for 48 years and is a long-standing Bluebird Care customer. She commented:
It was really lovely to see everyone at the event.
I've always found that Bluebird Care goes above and beyond to make its customers feel valued and this event is just one example.
