Bluebird Care Lincoln is celebrating their fantastic team of care assistants, and the difference they make across the community every day, as part of a national campaign, which launched on Tuesday 8th May.

The #MakeADifference campaign, headed up by Bluebird Care’s franchise support centre, aims to highlight and raise awareness of care at home as a profession, which enables vulnerable people to receive the care and support they require in the comfort of their own homes. The purpose of the campaign is so we can showcase why the Bluebird Care Lincoln team of care assistants are #ProudtoCareAtHome.

With the rapidly increasing ageing population and rising numbers of people living with complex conditions - that require specialist care – such as dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease, and more people choosing to opt for care at home, our campaign aims to highlight how patient, kind and compassionate individuals can make a real difference working in care at home.

Bluebird Care Lincoln will be hosting interactive recruitment events throughout May - August to promote the campaign.

Claire White, Bluebird Care Lincoln’s longest-standing care assistant – of over 6 years, said:

Some people already have the skills to work in home care; patience, caring, and having a laugh. I have a giggle with my customers every day. I know I will never find another job where I am making a real difference.
Director of Bluebird Care Lincoln commented:

Via the #MakeADifference campaign, we want all individuals to learn more about how rewarding a career in home care can be, the huge difference you can make to the people that you support, and why so many of our Bluebird Care care assistants are #ProudToCareAtHome.
