Our Caribbean Carnival BBQ 2016

On Saturday 16 July, 2016, Bluebird Care Bromley hosted a summer BBQ for its staff, as well those of its sibling offices in Sevenoaks and Lewisham & Southwark.

On Saturday 16 July, 2016, Bluebird Care Bromley hosted a summer BBQ for its staff and their families, as well those of its sibling offices in Sevenoaks and Lewisham & Southwark.

The theme was Caribbean Carnival and the team went to town decorating the garden of local pub The Chatterton Arms. Entertainment on the day included not 1 but 2 bouncy castles, a childern's entertainer, face-painting, an ice cream van, pop corn, candy floss, a DJ and live music from the Croydon Steel Orchestra, and an all-day BBQ courtesy of our friends at White Men Can't Jerk.
 

There was a fancy dress competition for the children with tons of cool prizes, and a raffle for staff, top prize in which was a all-expense paid weekend for 2 in Lake Garda, Tuscany!

And the weather couldn't have been better!

A fantastic day for all the family which we can't wait to repeat next year. Many thanks to everyone who conributed to the effort, and to all our staff and their families who came out and made this a day to remember.
