We are delighted to have run our first Care for Carers Moving & Handling of People course on Tuesday 13th November 2018, at our Bluebird Care (Lewes District, Brighton & Hove) offices on Denton Island, Newhaven, BN9 9BB.

The course has been offered free of charge for the Charity Care for Carers and will be running 6 times a year. Our first course was nearly at capacity and the feedback from delegates suggested the 3 hour course was helpful and beneficial.

All delegates felt the course provided helpful and relevant experiences to help them with mobility issues .

Other comments included:

...the course covered all problems I might encounter.
I would recommend this course [because];

… carers need to know to assist mobility.
… its very helpful and interesting.
... it is very good and informative.
… its very well explained and Gary (the trainer) answers all our questions.
The most useful part of the course was;

... the lifting with my safety in mind. Also handling a wheelchair on a slope.
