Karen joined us in 2019 as Training Officer and has now moved into the position of Operations Manager responsible for both offices in Hove and Newhaven. Due to her astounding skills base and ability to problem solve she has taken on the whole of Operations Manager for the two businesses. This includes supporting the Registered Care Managers with compliance as well as using her knowledge as a registered nurse to guide the business, new and experienced employees to fulfil potential.
The investment made in training our staff to a high standard is a testament to the level of care that’s provided ensuring all staff are prepared for the individual needs of our customers.

Lavinia has now joined the Bluebird Care team as Care Co-ordinator and is responsible for ensuring that each customer receives their care calls each day.
I have been involved in the social care sector for around 10 years. Working in domiciliary care, and now as a care coordinator is very rewarding. I have always been working in a very person-centred way, always having in mind the idea of keeping our customers safe and protecting their rights. I think that everybody should receive personal, tailored based support, so we make sure to work in a holistic way.
