Shabir Hussain, CEO at Bluebird South Leeds, believes that having excellent training is essential to providing home care: “Clients want to know that our carers are highly competent. It allows them to safely transfer their trust for care to us. When Clients discover the variety, technical complexity and volume of training our Carers undergo, they often express surprise, as well as relief. Care is not amongst the highest paid of professions, and we find that sometimes there is an incorrect assumption that carers are not well trained. That certainly is not the case with us. We believe in investing heavily in our staff and their training.”

Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Shabir’s goal at Bluebird Care. He says “The care Bluebird provides has a huge impact on our customers' lives. Rosalyn Mudyiwa
Rosalyn Mudyiwa is a Supervisor with our Leeds South team and has worked in care for 2 years. She says “I lead and support the care team to ensure every client receives safe, compassionate, and personalised care. I monitor clients’ wellbeing, provide guidance and mentoring to staff, and ensure care plans are followed to the highest standards. I also coordinate with families and other professionals to maintain consistent, quality care. “ In her free time she loves gardening and often spends her free time growing vegetables and flowers
