As part of this awareness week Nutricia, an organisation who offer advice on advanced medical nutrition, have put together a fact sheet highlighting what a healthy diet entails and tips to improve nutrition. Some of these tips include having plenty of starchy foods, along with fruit and vegetables as well as focusing on foods that are a good energy source. If you would like to find out more, you can download the Nutricia fact sheet here.

David Brown, director of Bluebird Care (Leeds North), commented:

Nutrition and hydration are very important issues in society and as a care provider, it is important that we do all we can to support and educate our community on these issues. We encourage everyone to visit the campaign website and download the factsheet which contains key advice on nutrition.
