The Bluebird Care team has put pedal power behind a fantastic cause, completing an 81-mile cycling challenge in support of St John’s Hospice.
Eight members of the team took part in the relay, cycling the 81-mile route from Barrow to Glasson Dock and raising money for St John’s Hospice, our chosen Charity of the Year.
The challenge was a brilliant opportunity for colleagues to come together outside of work, take on something a little different and, most importantly, support a local charity that provides invaluable care to people and families across our community.
St John’s Hospice provides free palliative care to patients with life-shortening conditions, as well as offering support to their loved ones. As a local care provider, its work is particularly close to our hearts.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone who got involved in the challenge — whether they were cycling, supporting the riders along the way or helping to raise funds.
A huge well done to our eight cyclists for completing the challenge, and thank you to everyone who supported the team and helped us raise money for such a worthwhile local cause. 💙
