London Home Care Provider Commits To Significant Wage Rises For Care Assistants

Bluebird Care’s offices in Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond & Twickenham and Westminster & City of London have announced a large pay rise for all of their Care Assistants.

Effective from 1st May 2022, the significant pay rises will begin at 12% and go as high as 18%- in response to the exceptional work of their team. 

All franchises who are owned by Managing Director, Peter Slough, responsible for achieving the only triple rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission – the highest award available in the industry.  All three businesses deliver premium home care services throughout the city, including home visits, live-in care, companionship and complex care plans.

The pay rise will apply to every member of staff who has passed their 3-month probation period and is in addition to other staff benefits, including health care, paid training, staff of the year prizes, long service dinners and discounts from retailers.

The UK is currently experiencing a shortage of health and social care workers across the country and the UK capital is not exempt. Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond & Twickenham and Westminster & City of London hope that their market-leading wages will attract more Care Assistants into the industry with competitive pay that reflects the cost of living and recognises the invaluable work of the sector.
