Bluebird Care to raise funds for Macmillan

This September Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea is taking part in Macmillan Cancer World's Biggest Coffee Morning.  

Today Friday 28^th September Bluebird Care KC will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting their very own coffee morning as part of the annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Across the UK alone, there are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer, increasing by 3.2% every year. Funds raised from the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign helps to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for those battling cancer.

The first nationwide Coffee Morning took place in 1991 with 2,600 supporters taking part. Since then, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning has come a long way; it is now the largest and longest-standing fundraising event of its kind in the UK. In 2016, Coffee Morning raised over £29.5 million to help provide support to people who have cancer across the UK alone.
