Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea Celebrates Home Care with the #MakeADifference Campaign
Published: 21/05/2018
Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea is celebrating its fantastic team of care assistants, and the difference they make across Kensington & Chelsea borough every day, as part of a nationwide campaign, which launched on earlier this month
The #MakeADifference campaign, headed by Bluebird Care, aims to highlight and raise awareness of domiciliary care as a profession, which enables vulnerable people to receive the care and support they require in the comfort of their own homes. The campaigns’ purpose is to showcase Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea’s care assistants as #ProudtoCareAtHome.
With the rapidly increasing ageing population and rising numbers of people living with complex conditions - that require specialist care - for example Dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease, and more people choosing to opt for care at home, this campaign aims to highlight how patient, kind and compassionate individuals can make a real difference working in domiciliary care.
Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea’s Registered Care Manager, Nicola Bowditch, has had a true career journey,
“I joined Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea in 2011 and worked as a Care Assistant. Having found my place in a company that really cares I then moved on and have had various roles in the office Coordinator, Supervisor, Deputy Care Manager and now I am the Registered Care Manager.
I have always been given every opportunity for self-development and progression and enjoy working with all of the staff, customers and other health professionals in the area making a real difference to people’s lives.
Bluebird Care offered me an amazing opportunity for progressing my career, and now via the #MakeADifference campaign, I would like to invite all individuals to learn more about how rewarding a career in home care can be.”
