Congratulations to care assistant Claudette Davis, who is our ‘Care Assistant of the Quarter’.
 
Claudette was presented with her award at Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney’s ‘pizza Friday’ on (date), where the care team were invited in for a bite to each and a catch up.
 
Pizza Friday was organised for the care team as a thank you for working so hard, this involved a lot of pizzas, as well as drinks and chocolates.
 
We decided to name Claudette ‘Care Assistant of the Quarter’ for her outstanding work in settling down a new package in a professional and person-centred way. Claudette was delighted to receive the award as the picture shows!
 
We also used this opportunity to present a number of care assistants with long-service pins, in total we have 8 members of care staff who have been with us for 3 years; 7 who have been with us for 2 years and 10 who have a year’s service with us.
