Meet our team of care professionals

Michael & Tania Hackett
Directors & Joint Owners

The Directors and owners of Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney are husband and wife Michael and Tania Hackett. Michael and Tania moved to Islington in 2006 having met at the University of Manchester, and three years later moved to Hackney. Members of both Michael and Tania’s family have received care in a range of settings, meaning they have seen first-hand the importance of quality driven, person-centred care, which they are in turn passionate about delivering to their customers.

Michael has spent the majority of his professional life working for the global recruitment business Michael Page where he specialised in placing people into a range of positions in the Health and Social Care sector. This experience of working in a “matching” industry means Michael understands the importance of selecting and placing the most appropriate Care Workers with the right customers.

Tania is a qualified solicitor with eight years post-qualification experience in employment law, most recently at the retailer Marks and Spencer. Tania’s background in legal and compliance has made it possible for Bluebird Care to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s care specialists can provide high-quality care services to a range of customers in the boroughs of Islington & Hackney.

Michael and Tania are open, honest and friendly, so please feel free to contact them directly with any thoughts or questions about Bluebird Care, and how we might be able to support you and your family.
