A massive well done to our care worker Kasey Wiles who has been shortlisted for the Great British Care Awards in Yorkshire and the Humber.
A massive well done to our care worker Kasey Wiles who has been shortlisted for the Great British Care Awards in Yorkshire and the Humber.
In the words of Bluebird Care Hull and Beverley director Mike Thompson, Kasey “does not recognise 'going the extra mile', for her it is just doing her job. Putting a smile on her customer's faces is her reward at the end of a care visit”.
In recent months Kasey has used the first aid skills she learnt during her Bluebird Care training to come to the aid of a man in the street who had been injured during an assault, ran the Hull 10k while pushing one of our customers in a wheel chair and walked on hot coals to raise money for Dove House Hospice.
Kasey will find out if she has won an award during a gala dinner at a swanky hotel in York on October 10.
