Teresa Arnell

Operations Manager

Teresa has 10 years experience  and has been with Bluebird since December 2016. 

I enjoy my job because every day is different. It’s challenging and fulfilling as you are always striving to improve practices no matter how good you are. Bluebird is a pleasant environment to work in because our team works well together. I get a sense of satisfaction knowing that I’m helping people when I go to work.

I am a compassionate care giver and I have spent all my working life working in the social care sector. Before becoming a care service worker, I was a volunteer Doula, where my responsibilities involved helping vulnerable women during and after pregnancy. One experience that stuck with me till date was when I solely delivered a baby in the bathroom successfully before the help arrives. That was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

I am passionate about my job and my satisfaction comes from seeing smiles on people’s face when I arrive to provide care for them. My free time is spent looking after my four lovely children whom enjoyed spending time with.

I enjoy my job because I have the opportunity to make a difference.
