Teresa Arnell

Operations/Registered Manager

Teresa started her journey with Blueird Care in 2016. 

Throughout her journey she has progressed from Care Worker, to On-call Supervisior to Area Care Manager and is now the current Registered Manager. Teresa completes her role with hands on approach, using her 10years experience within the sector and is currently  working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Social Care. Outside work Teresa enjoys campervan life, travelling the UK and Ireland.

I am a compassionate care giver and I have spent all my working life working in the social care sector. Before becoming a care service worker, I was a volunteer Doula, where my responsibilities involved helping vulnerable women during and after pregnancy. One experience that stuck with me till date was when I solely delivered a baby in the bathroom successfully before the help arrives. That was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

I am passionate about my job and my satisfaction comes from seeing smiles on people’s face when I arrive to provide care for them. My free time is spent looking after my four lovely children whom enjoyed spending time with.

I enjoy my job because I have the opportunity to make a difference.
