People choose to work in healthcare for a number of reasons, but one of the benefits is that it is extremely flexible! Care Assistant Sharpen shares a little more in this short article.
Sharpen works in the community proving our customers with valuable care and support that enables them to remain at home for as long as possible.
She loves what she does and chose to work in care because of the flexibility that it brings.
I really enjoy my role. Particularly meeting my regular customers and hearing all about their lives!

Sharpen's husband is a bus driver and therefore works either morning or evening shifts meaning that she needed a job that fitted around him so they can share childcare responsibilities.
Working in care has given Sharpen the ability to do a job that she loves and also one that works around her life commitments. She explained that without that flexibility, she would not be able to work.
Sharpen is a credit to the Bluebird Care team and we are delighted that she chose to join us! A lot of our Care Assistants are working mums or have other commitments that their role fits well around. This is certainly one of the benefits of a career in care!
