Supporting Local Charities

We strive to make a difference to the lives of people not only through the care that we provide, but also through the way that we support some very good causes.

Two causes that we support is Lennox Children's cancer fund and the Red Box Project.

Lennox Children's Cancer Fund is a 50:50 competition, where people buy squares on a matrix and the person who gets the winning box wins half of the money raised, with half going to support the fund.

Care Supervisor Marina won 50% of the money raised, which totalled £50 and the remaining £50 went to support 11 year old Micky, who has a very rare but high-risk leukaemia.

The second cause that we are supporting is The Red Box Project, which is a box held in the office to collect menstrual products to be distributed to the young people in our schools.

The box is available in the office for anyone who would like to make a donation.

Care Manager Halina explained:
It is very important for us to support these two projects and I would like to thank our team for their generosity and support through the donations that they have made.

Our next charity event that we are looking into is the Race For Life in June, where we would be completing a 5k run to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
