Bluebird Care Leicester Care Assistant Named Domiciliary Care Professional Of The Year
Bluebird Care Leicester’s Jodianne Horne has been named as Leicester’s Domiciliary Care Professional of the Year at the local Care Professional of the Year Awards.
Specialist home care provider Bluebird Care’s Leicester team, who have recently achieved a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission, were delighted that two of their Care Assistants reached the finals of the awards after two years of hard work and dedication from the entire team throughout the pandemic. A total of eight team members were up for nomination across a range of categories at the prestigious local awards which are hosted by LeicestershireLive.
Jodianne Horne was overjoyed by her award which was achieved thanks to the close bonds she has with her customers. With a decade of experience and dedication, nothing is too much trouble for Jodianne and she is committed to seeing Bluebird Care Leicester customers live the life they deserve.

“The entire team is beyond proud of Jodianne’s achievements, and she was nominated because of the unrivalled quality of care she delivers every day. Nothing is too much for her and she takes the time to ensure even the smallest needs are met, regularly taking customers washing home to complete in her own time and making sure everybody gets their fish and chips on a Friday night!
“Peter Doughty also made it to the final and while we can only have one winner, the whole team admires how he successfully juggles two jobs while still offering tireless support to his customers. In the eight years he has been at Bluebird Care Leicester he has never taken a sick day and delivers the highest standard of care every day. I am proud to have Pete as part of our care team”
