The registered care manager of Haringey’s number 1 homecare provider has been named as the best care manager in the UK.

Terina Jones, who for the last two years has been a part of the team at Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey, was awarded ‘Care Manager of the Year’ last week as a special award ceremony.

15 finalists were selected from 100’s of nominations to attend an awards ceremony at the world-famous Fortnum and Mason, Piccadilly, where each of them were recognised for the incredible work that they do in their roles every day, supporting the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Director of Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey, George Morris, said:

“Terina is incredible! She often goes above and beyond to serve our customers and look after our staff.

Without her, Bluebird Care wouldn’t be the award-winning organisation it is today. We care for some of the most vulnerable people in the borough, so having someone like Terina running the day-to-day operations of our care provision really does make a difference!”

Thanks to Terina’s commitment and dedication, Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey was awarded an outstanding in their recent CQC inspection – the highest rating available and the only homecare provider in Haringey to receive the full five stars from the national regulator.  

“We’re absolutely delighted with our CQC outstanding rating this year and with Terina’s achievements. We’re looking forward to going even further in 2023 by providing excellent high-quality services for some of Haringey’s most vulnerable,” added George.
