Now is the time to care and help look after your local community! Our vulnerable need you! Care assistants are vital in keeping the elderly and vulnerable safe.

People over 70 years old, and those with underlying health conditions, are most at risk from contracting the virus and thus have been told to stay at home for at least the next 12 weeks.

Many people in the London Borough of Haringey are elderly and vulnerable, all will require help at home especially throughout the next 3-6 months. Bluebird Care is actively recruiting more care assistants to cope with the demand across the Borough.

Michael Hackett, Director of Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey, commented:

“In this difficult and unprecedented situation, it’s not just about being able to help a customer do their shopping. It’s so much more. Being a care assistant in these current times is about saving lives and protecting the health and welfare of our customers.

Many customers now will spend a lot of time on their own and will feel lonely. As a care provider it’s our care assistants who offer companionship and a friendly face to our customers who may be spending a lot of time on their own. By increasing the number of care assistants, we can further support those in need.

Now more than ever is a great time to join the care sector. We can offer job stability, safety and rewarding roles.

Please contact us to see what employment opportunities we have for you.”
