The family day will involve different charities working together to fundraise! There will be a variety of things to do to keep everyone entertained, such as a bouncy castle, games, workshops, stalls and lots more.
Bluebird Care Herefordshire will be there fundraising for the Parkinson’s Society by hosting a raffle and ‘Guess My Name’ to win a giant teddy.
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition which means sufferer’s movements become slower so it takes longer to do things. People with Parkinson’s don’t have enough dopamine because some of the nerve cells in their brain have died. The loss of these nerve cells is what causes the symptoms of Parkinson’s. There is currently no cure and we still don’t know why people get the condition. The Parkinson’s Society are working hard to help provide better care, treatments and quality of life.
Come along to the Reach Out Fun Day at Saxon Hall and visit us at our stall to help support and raise money for this wonderful charity.
