Bluebird Care recently welcomed their third apprentice, Jasmine Atwater-Dunn.
Bluebird Care in conjunction with North Yorkshire County Council is excited to have Jasmine on board. Jasmine will be spending much of her time within the Children’s Services team and has settled in to become an important administrator of the service.
Jasmine said:
I came to work for Bluebird Care in January2014, throughout this time I have supported Rebecca the Children’s Services Manager with many admin tasks such as producing care plans and coordinating the support workers rotas. I have also been involved in providing care for children with disabilities which involves taking them to various activities they enjoy, supporting them to reach their potential which proves very rewarding.
I didn’t have much experience in care before I started this role but I have been put through a lot of training such as paediatric first aid, safeguarding, autism awareness, emergency medication for epilepsy and moving and handling all this has helped tremendously.
