Director of award-winning homecare provider, Bluebird Care Hammersmith & Fulham, Soheila Amin has donated £250 to the Royal Seed Orphanage – which cares for over 130 children in the remote village of Ofaakor, Ghana.

53 of those are orphans and 80 are in community care.

The Royal Seed Orphanage is visited, twice-yearly, and supported by another team member Sarah Senaya-Awume - Training and Recruitment Manager of Bluebird Care Hammersmith & Fulham.

Sarah said: “It is absolutely fantastic of Soheila to give such a generous donation. The donation has gone towards Christmas food, drinks and presents for the children.

The Royal Seed Orphanage provides food, shelter and education for the needy and homeless children in the village of Ofaakor. The Orphanage aims to help any child in need, to nourish their bodies by providing a healthy diet and fuel their brains with education. It strives to build and better the lives of its children and to prepare each child to be self-reliant, positive and respectful.

The Orphanage also teaches the children how to become valuable members of the community.”

Managing Director of Bluebird Care Hammersmith & Fulham, Soheila Amin, who has a passion for working and volunteering for her local community, commented:

“As a home care provider, we can see the impact that care and support can have on people’s lives. I am delighted to be able to give back to children who need care, love and education. The Bluebird Hammersmith & Fulham team and I are looking forward to hearing stories and seeing photos of Sarah’s trip!”
