Matylda Zielinska

Training and Recruitment Manager

I came to London 16 years ago to continue my career in care.  I already successfully ran the Day Centre for children in Poland.

My journey in the care industry here started from a care assistant job in a little Care Agency, where I was quickly promoted and became a senior carer. Then I moved to the Care home which specialized in dementia , where I spent a few years.

My next position was a Supervisor and Assessor's job. I was working for one of the biggest care providers in the Brent area, where I developed as a worker, I got my own mentor, all relevant training to become a trainer and Out of Hours Manager. At that time, I had occasion to specialize in providing care to mental health, dementia, cancer and Parkinson clients. Also, I became a Mental Capacity Assessor providing training to the carers and client's NOKs and doing professional Mental Capacity Assessments for the clients.

The next stage of my career was becoming a Care Manager, at that time I was supporting the Register Managers in different care companies. I was training staff members, doing internal audits, running safeguarding and disciplinary investigations, managing mental health and complex care packages, supporting clients and their families, and preparing risk assessment training and templates for the care field supervisors.

Last five years I was working as a Registered Manager for the various care providers and recently I changed my career, I became a Training Manager, as I wanted to focus on providing training to the care staff.

Sauda Dawaro

Service Delivery Officer

10 years. That is how long I have been working in care.

With a biomedical science degree in my bag, I however wanted a job that could give me a sense of gratification and that is when I decided to take a different path into healthcare.

From my humble beginnings as a carer and working my way up to now a proud service delivery officer, it has been a turbulent journey with constant challenges but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here at Bluebird H&F, the main focus has always been to ensure our customers and employees get the maximum support and I am happy to say that even the pandemic has not changed this momentum.
