Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley have launched an innovative app, allowing their staff to communicate electronically about people's care - improving safety and streamlining real-time information.
The paperless system lists all notes from a care visit, highlighting what tasks were completed, when they were carried out and details about the overall health and wellbeing of a customer.
Director of Bluebird Care, Guildford & Waverley, Brian Colvin, said:
We are proud to be leading the way in the home care sector and utilising this fantastic technology, which helps improve communication around our customers’ care. ‘Bluebird PASS’ is a brilliant app which enables access to real-time care records on our care worker’s mobile phones, improving both communication and safety.”
Using the app, communication with health or social care workers and families is also streamlined, enabling up-to-the-minute information to be shared. The new software replaces the need for handwritten notes, which need to be made at each care visit, and would only be reviewed each month, as opposed to each day.
