Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley are taking part in the Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday 3rd July at Goldsworth Park Lake, to raise funds for Woking Hospice.

The Dragon Boat Fun Day is an annual event held at Goldsworth Lake to raise money for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. Once again, this event is held in memory of Kris Cook who tragically suffered a cardiac arrest after cycling 46 miles in the Prudential Ride 100 in 2014. His love of water sports inspired the Dragon Boat race in his memory.

Everything will be supplied on the day, no need it bring your own boats and life jackets! People of all abilities and experiences are welcome. Come along to join in or spectate there’s lots to keep everyone entertained including a bouncy castle, BBQ, Pimm’s tent, games and more!

For more information about the event, visit the Dragon Boat Fun Day page. If you would like to donate to the Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley’s team, please visit our Just Giving page.
