Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley are supporting Heart Month and taking part in Wear it Beat it 2016 in aid of the British Heart Foundation on Friday 5th February.

Wear it Beat it takes place on the 5th of February, during Heart Month. The day encourages people to ‘get red everywear’ in aid of the British Heart Foundation. By participating in Wear it Beat it we are helping to win the fight for every heartbeat by raising money to help the BHF:
  • Finding treatments that transform the lives of people with heart disease.
  • Supporting over 1,000 pioneering research projects on heart and cardiovascular disease.
  • Supporting BHF healthcare professionals to care for people.
We are asking all of our staff to wear something red on Friday 5 February for Wear it Beat it, and to make a small donation to our collection box, with all proceeds being donated to British Heart Foundation.

Commenting, Brian Colvin, Director of Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley said;

“All of us at the Bluebird Care Guildford and Waverley office are supporting Heart Month and the Wear it. Beat it. campaign to help raise awareness of the dangers of heart and circulatory disease in our community, and highlight lifestyle and health changes that can combat heart disease. Office staff will be wearing red on 5th February and raising awareness of the British Heart Foundation, whose pioneering work can transform lives now and in the future.”
