Our annual customer Christmas party was held on Wednesday 16th December at Fairlands Community Hall, Guildford!
The Customer Christmas Party afternoon took place on Wednesday 16th December between 2pm and 4pm. We chose Fairlands Community Hall as the venue for this year’s party.

Guests enjoyed sherry, mince pies, nibbles and some of the 70 cupcakes made by support supervisor Julie Hazell, whose 91-year-old mother, Mary Powell, made a beautiful teddy bear for the guess the name of the bear competition.

As well as staff writing and starring in a mini-pantomime - ‘Little Blue Riding Hood’ and selection of songs, local musician Andy Martin performed favourite Christmas music and there was a host of fund-raising activities raising £200 for charity!

Director of Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley, Brian Colvin said:
“We organise the event each year so that as many of the people that we care for as possible can enjoy celebrating Christmas with others. Loneliness among older people, especially at Christmas, can make this a difficult time, so it’s lovely to all come together to celebrate this special occasion.”
We would like to thank everyone who joined us for the afternoon, and to all behind the scenes who were involved in the organisation of the party!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here at Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley.
