Magic Moments

Nearly a fifth of people in the South East region spend nearly a month, 24 days a year, without seeing anyone. Bluebird Care Guildford and Waverley have developed a local campaign to run alongside the national Every Visit Counts campaign, called Magic Moments, helping to combat loneliness.

Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley are looking to create some Magic Moments by asking individuals to complete a random act of kindness either to someone you know or a complete stranger. Take a photo or video of your 'Magic Moment' and upload it to Facebook with the hashtags #magicmoments #EveryVisitCounts, as well as making sure you nominate 3 of your friends to do the same.

Here are just a few examples of what you could do;

  • Taking flowers to friends or family

  • Preparing a meal

  • Visiting a relative in hospital

  • Making time to chat with someone

Don't forget to nominate your friends and family, the more people that get involved the further we can spread our message and increase awareness.
