CELEBRATING HALF A DECADE OF CARE IN GRAVESHAM & DARTFORD

2015 is an important year for us as it marks half a decade of providing high quality care to the residents of Gravesham & Dartford.

2015 is an important year for us as it marks half a decade of providing high quality care to the residents of Gravesham & Dartford. 

Over the past five years we have been privileged to provide over 1.2m care visits and currently help over 400 customers enjoy independent lives in their own homes.

We celebrated the occasion with a special afternoon tea in the Gravesham Mayor’s Parlour which was was attended by customers, their family and Care Workers. 

Cabinet Member Tan Dhesi (Business and the Community portfolio) and Cllr John Caller, Mayor of Gravesham who were pleased to support Bluebird Care as a local business and cut a celebratory cake at the event.

Tan commented: ‘Local businesses are important for our community. As well as creating employment opportunities, local services are important and, often, much more personal. This is especially important within healthcare.’

Following the event, we are looking into possibly hosting more regular events for our customers as they very much enjoyed the afternoon. Further details about these events will be published in the coming months.
