Food Hampers for Christmas

Local home care provider Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford have donated 24 food hampers to local charity, Elleanor’s Hospice on the 23rd December.

Located on Coldharbour Road in Gravesend, Elleanor’s Hospice is a specialist palliative care provider for adults and children in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley. Offering vital care and support to individuals throughout Kent, the hospice charity is a pillar to the local community.

As a business that also provides home care support to customers throughout the region, Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford were eager to do their part to make the festive season as special as possible for everybody associated with the hospice. After discussing what they could do, the team decided to donate 24 festive food hampers to the hospice charity.

The hampers were presented to the wellbeing team at Elleanor’s Hospice by Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford Care Manager, Denise Dadswell, and Care Coordinator, Claire Gallier. The hospice team were delighted to receive the hampers, which will be distributed to patients at the hospice, and those who receive care in their own homes.

Reflecting on their contribution to the local hospice, Bobby Pawar, Director said:

“It is a privilege for us at Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford to be able to support the Elleanor Hospice, who work tirelessly to make a difference to people’s lives in our local community.”

Speaking on the importance of their community work, Boby Pawar, Director, added:
