We are immensley proud of our office team along with Care Assistants Reda and Viljia who spent hours braving the sun to raise funds for our named charity North West Kent Volunteer Centre.   This is day one of two days of bucket collections in Gravesend town centre and the team did a fantastic job.

This is day one of two days of bucket collections in Gravesend town centre and the team did a fantastic job.

We are proud to support North West Kent Volunteer Centre in 2017 who provide a wide range of voluntary support that includes befriending, transport and gardening services to older people.

As an organisation where our customers all live in the local community, being able to support a local cause is a central part of what we do.

Although we will not be counting the monies raised until the second collection has been completed, we think the team raised a minimum of £100!

Care Assistant Reda, who popped down on her break, said:
This is great fun and it is really good to do something like this for the local community.

I thought it would be hard trying to get people to donate, but everyone seems to be so generous!

Care Assistant Vilija, who kindly joined us on her day off commented:

It is the first time I have done anything like this and we are all finding it very enjoyable.

In particular, it is interesting as I used to work at a local school and keep being seen by people I know from there!
