Meet our Operations team

Augusta John, Care Supervisor
I joined Bluebird Care on the 8th of December 2025. I joined Bluebird because I used to work as a care assistant for a previous company a few years ago, which is where I started my career in care at the age of 18/19. I have worked in supported living for the majority of my healthcare journey, especially during COVID-19. In 2024, I joined a company that provided care to children with special and complex needs as their supervisor, which I enjoyed at the time, and I really learned a lot during my time there. However, I missed the interaction and passion that came with providing care to the elderly. I'm grateful to Bluebird for taking a chance on me. I am now a few months away from turning 30 in August and also expecting my firstborn child in a few months, which I am excited about but also very nervous about. I am looking forward to motherhood, and I am grateful for the support system I have. I pray that God gives my husband and I the ability to raise this child in his guidance and to provide them with a comfortable life that we didn’t have growing up.

Neville Madera, Care Supervisor
Neville chose to join the Bluebird Care team after a desire to change career. With a degree in marketing and media, he also had a passion for giving back and wanted to put that at the centre of his career. In his role as Care Supervisor, Neville is now able to spend time giving back to the community. He loves helping others and providing support not just to our customers, but his colleagues as they deliver much needed support.

Donna Neve, Care Supervisor
Donna joined Bluebird Care in September 2021 as a Care Professional, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector. Her background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the needs of both clients and care teams. With her extensive experience, Donna has now transitioned into a new role within our office as a Care Supervisor. In this position, she continues to apply her expertise to ensure high standards of care and support for our clients. We are excited to have Donna in this leadership role, where her dedication and insight will greatly benefit our team and the community we serve.

Bernard Oko, Care Coordinator
Bernard joined Bluebird Care in November 2025, attracted by the company’s strong reputation and long history of delivering quality care across the UK. He previously worked as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, gaining valuable experience in both frontline care and team support. This background has given him a solid understanding of client needs and what it takes to maintain high standards of care. Bernard values the supportive environment at Bluebird Care and the opportunities for professional development. Finding care highly rewarding, particularly being able to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people. Outside of work, Bernard enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and a love for football.
