Christmas Kindness Campaign

Bluebird Care Gloucestershire North have been celebrating christmas by spreading some kindness this month! Click 'read more' to find out what we did.

Some of the office staff took part in the #KindlyXmas campaign, which is all about spreading some Christmas joy to a older person who will be alone this Christmas. We thought this campaign was an excellent way to spread some kindness this month.

So, Naomi, Shannon, Donna, Debbie, Poppy, Joana and Marie all wrote letters to isolated older people, to help brighten up their Christmas. Each letter came complete with their personalised Christmas decoration made by Naomi and some people included some of their favourite quotes to share. We are very pleased that we helped to make a difference to these people, especially over this holiday period and we hope they enjoy reading our letters.

We also had a christmas celebration day, everyone in the office (except the odd scrouge!) came dressed up in their Christmas jumpers or their elf costumes to get in the Christmas spirit and spread some joy. We even had an elf cookie decorating competition! We couldn't decide the winner, so we posted them onto social media asking them to pick, and it looks like Naomi & Poppy won the cookie decorating competition! (Number 1) Well done ladies.
