Poppy, our Quality Assurance Coordinators & Sian, Home Care Assistants Anniversary!

Poppy Barr, Quality Assurance Coordinator and Sian Emms, Home Care Assistant and Community Dementia Link Worker have reached their two year anniversary with Bluebird Care!

Poppy Barr has been with us for 2 years, as Quality Assurance Coordinator, covering
the whole business. During this time, she has had a really positive impact, meticulously auditing our working practices and record-keeping, and ensuring that driver documentation, and staff development training qualifications are kept up-to-date.

Poppy works closely with the directors and both care managers, to ensure that the management team is fully aware of any challenges which need to be addressed, and produces action plans to put us back on track where we have slipped back. Her reports are always clear, and easy to understand.

We can always rely on Poppy to carry out any task she has agreed to take on, and to produce her report by, or more usually before, the deadline. She is first to volunteer to participate in working parties, and to offer assistance when she sees that it is needed. She always responds rapidly to emails and phone messages. She is also a great proof-reader of the newsletter!

As well as being super-efficient, Poppy has a lovely manner, and gets on well with everybody. She is a pleasure to work with.



Sian Emms too has reached her second anniversary with Bluebird Care.  
Sian is always professional, provides excellent standards of care to our customers,and provides great support to our new carers through her mentoring role.  Sian is always very thorough in her job and always reports concerns quickly and appropriately.  Sian has completed her dementia link worker training, and is very successful in putting what she has learned into practice with our customers.  Sian has good working relationships with customers and colleagues, and she is a kind, compassionate carer who always put the best interests of the customers first.




Sian and Poppy are all great assets to the team, and we look forward to many more years working with them.
