Last week, we commenced our first Mentor Training Workshop.Donna Jones and Debbie Bridgewater have successfully introduced our carers onto the career pathway of Bluebird Care, transitioning from Care Assistants to Mentors.

Last week, we commenced our first Mentor Training Workshop.

Donna Jones and Debbie Bridgewater have successfully introduced our carers onto the career pathway of Bluebird Care, transitioning from Care Assistants to Mentors.

We believe by investing in training our mentors will enable us to give our new carers an amazing start and unforgettable support at the beginning of their career journey at Bluebird Care North Gloucestershire.

During the workshop, we discussed the expectation of a mentor, different learning styles, the importance of team roles and how each one of our carers will bring a wide range of knowledge, skills, and experience. The workshop was interactive and fun, and the feedback we received was very positive. We are looking forward to having our next workshop in April.
