Introducing the Dementia Red File

We are pleased to launch The Dementia Red File, developed by our very own dementia lead Donna Jones.

We are pleased to launch The Dementia Red File, developed by our very own dementia lead Donna Jones. The purpose of this new initiative is to integrate the care of people living with dementia by care assistants, supervisors, family members, social workers, GPs, district nurses, consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals. 

By promoting partnership working, everyone will have access to the same high quality and update to date information. 

Our aim for the red file is that it should become instantly recognisable to all NHS staff, carrying the butterfly motif used in hospitals to identify patients with dementia.
